 Introduction of the Institute

Today, English is the most widely spoken language in the world. The importance of acquiring proficiency in English is being felt by people aspiring to be successful professionals. English Language Teaching Institute of Symbiosis (ELTIS) has been engaged in imparting knowledge of English language to students from Afro-Asian Countries for the last 35 years (since 1971) and to Indian students through an array of specialized courses for specific needs. The learning experience at ELTIS is truly unique because of the informal atmosphere, the easy access to the administrative staff and expertise in teaching techniques.

In 1999, ELTIS, added a new dimension to its activity that of teaching foreign languages to Indian students. We introduced a number of international languages viz. French, German, Japanese, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Italian, Portuguese, Vietnamese and Hindi (for Foreigners) & Marathi (for Non-Maharashtrians).
