SCDL offers blended learning methodology that combines all three forms of learning, namely, through the book, e-learning and classroom/faculty interaction.

Study Material
All students are provided with comprehensive study material books specially designed for the course. Renowned authors design the books with the distance learning methodology in mind.

E-learning
The e-learning content is interactive and combines theory with examples, case studies, scenarios, practice exercises and application based assessments. The e- learning modules consist of relevant graphics, animation and inter-activities, thus making the learning experience enjoyable.

Workshop
SCDL has enriched distance learning programmes by offering an opportunity for peer / expert faculty interaction and networking through a workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to equip students to apply what they have learnt and face this challenging world confidently.

E- mentoring
SCDL provides an extremely fast and effective e-mentoring facility for academic support to all its students. The students can send their academic queries via e-mail to SCDL. Expert faculty will answer these queries and reply within 2-3 days.

Web-based Support Services
SCDL has a powerful web portal (www.scdl.net). Students should log-in to the website using their username and password. They can access the following :

• Message Board which provides important information and regular updates on the programmes.

• Submit on-line assignments and view a complete score card for assignments attempted, cleared and marks obtained at any time.
• E-mail to SCDL representative as per nature of query so as to receive a prompt response.

Credit System & Transfer
Credits are used to measure the workload of a student. SCDL has introduced a Credit System for all its courses. A correlation between the credit points and the learner workload is appropriately established.

The Credit System offers students a unique opportunity to accumulate credit points towards a future post graduate programme with SCDL. Credit Transfer facility is offered with an objective of encouraging students to continue learning through our various programmes.
