Symbiosis Centre for International Education

The Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) is Department of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) that operates under the guiding principle of the University’s vision of "Promoting international understanding through quality education."

SCIE serves as the central hub for international students, providing comprehensive support throughout their academic journey, from initial admission to graduation.

A core objective is to create a welcoming and supportive "home away from home" for a diverse student body representing over 85 countries, ensuring their holistic success during their time at Symbiosis. To ease the transition and promote cultural integration, SCIE organizes comprehensive orientation programs. These programs introduce international students to the university's philosophy, their respective institutes, and the city of Pune, enabling them to better understand and appreciate the local culture and surroundings.

SCIE functions as a unifying platform for international students, both within Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and across colleges and universities in Pune. SCIE actively facilitates the pursuit of academic aspirations which are achieved through a wide array of opportunities, including academic exchanges, participation in international conferences, seminars, and workshops, and access to various other resources.
