Republic Day 2026 celebration at SIU Lavale campus
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU) marked India’s 77th Republic Day with a grand celebration across all its campuses, radiating a deep sense of national pride. At the Lavale campus in Pune, the national flag was unfurled by Prof. (Dr.) S.B. Mujumdar, Founder President of Symbiosis and Chancellor of SIU. He was joined by Dr. Ramakrishnan Raman (Vice Chancellor), Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar (Provost), along with Deans, Directors, faculty, and students.
In his address, Hon’ble Chancellor Sir spoke on the timeless philosophy of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’—The World is One Family—a vision that has been the cornerstone of Symbiosis since its inception in 1971. The event featured high-energy cultural performances by our students, showcasing the spirit of unity, diversity, and patriotism that defines the Symbiosis family.
